Course Detail

This qualification is designed for individuals who need skills to prepare for a vocational pathway qualification or further foundation skills development.

It is suitable for individuals who require:

  • a pathway to employment and further vocational training

  • reading, writing, oral communication, learning and numeracy skills primarily aligned to the Australian Core Skills Framework (ACSF) Level 2

  • entry level digital technology and employability skills

  • education, training and employment goals.

This qualification is designed for individuals who require further foundation skills development to prepare for workforce entry or vocational training pathways.

It is suitable for individuals who require:

  • a pathway to employment or further vocational training

  • reading, writing, oral communication, learning and numeracy skills primarily aligned to the Australian Core Skills Framework (ACSF) Level 3

  • entry level digital literacy and employability skills

  • a vocational training and employment plan.

This qualification reflects the role of individuals who are competent in a range of Information and Communications Technology (ICT) roles, including animation, basic cloud computing, basic cyber awareness, digital media skills, generalist IT support services, networking, programming, systems and web development.

Individuals who work in these fields apply broad sets of skills, including foundational knowledge in critical thinking and customer service skills, to support a range of technologies, processes, procedures, policies, people and clients in a variety of work contexts.

This qualification is designed for individuals who need the skills and knowledge to perform CPR, provide basic life support and provide first aid. The CPR qualification has a 12 month expiration period. The First Aid qualification has a 3 year expiration period.

This qualification is designed for individuals who intend to obtain employment anywhere in the Construction Industry. As per SafeWork NSW, anyone working in/on or accessing a construction zone needs General Induction Training (White Card).
