How do I enrol a student in the education program?
There are no set criteria for entry into our program other than the student has to be 15 years or older. Each prospective student is required to attend an interview (preferably with a carer or parent) to determine if the service is suitable for the student, and vice-versa. How long does our program take to complete?
The amount of time young people attend our program varies according to the needs of the student. Some will return to mainstream school after a short stay in our program, others will complete their education with us up to year 10 equivalent (certificate ii) or hsc. We also offer a select few vocational courses.
How often do students need to attend?
The hours that the student is required to attend varies depending on the course being undertaken and the circumstances of the student. As a general rule, a young person who is studying up to year 10 level is required to attend a minimum of three days per week and up to five days per week.
What fees will I need to pay?
There are no fees and all study material and resources will be provided by eagles raps inc.
What are the required study hours?
The school day is 9:00am to 2:30pm. The students have a five minute break each hour and lunch is from 12:00 to 12:45pm. If the student has a valid reason for not being able to attend the normal hours, alternative times can be arranged with the staff.
Do students get school holidays?
Students in the program will take holidays at the same time as mainstream public schools do, however, staff will still be available during the holidays on a flexible timetable should the student have issues that need to be addressed.
Do students need to wear a uniform?
There is no uniform for the student. The student is entitled to wear casual clothes provided they are not offensive to others I.E. Respectful, clean and no pictures or texts that may offend other students or staff.
